Apple iPhone 16 Series is Set to Debut in September

On Monday, Apple is set to host an event in September with the theme “It’s Glowtime,” which may also mark the launch of its iPhone 16 series.

According to reports, the event will occur at Apple Park’s Steve Jobs Theater, with anticipation of the debut of the iPhone 16 lineup.

Furthermore, the new iPhone series is predicted to shift to a vertically aligned camera system on the back. The series’ Pro and Pro Max units are anticipated to have wider screens but reportedly to keep Apple’s three-camera layout trademark.

According to reports, the iPhone 16 will also have a new bronze colorway.

Meanwhile, all four models of the 16 series are expected to have the Action Button, which was first launched to the iPhone 15 Pro line.

Apple’s upcoming iPhones might include a new button for capturing photos and videos. However, whether this feature will be exclusive to the Pro models or available on the standard iPhone 16 models is uncertain.

Additionally, artificial intelligence (AI) and Apple’s Intelligence features are expected to play a significant role in the upcoming event.

Currently, only the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max support Apple Intelligence, but it’s rumored that the entire iPhone 16 lineup will have this capability.

AI Highlighted on It’s Glowtime Event by Apple: Report

According to reports, widespread leaks suggest that the iPhone 16 will offer modest improvements over the iPhone 15 series.

The standard iPhone 16 models are expected to include a redesigned camera module, likely enabling spatial video recording. Moreover, its Pro and Pro Max series are expected to feature slightly larger displays and even thinner bezels than the iPhone 15 Pro models.

Furthermore, integrated under Apple Intelligence, generative AI will be a vital feature of the new iPhones. Some capabilities have already been shown to developers and beta testers in the iOS 18 beta.

However, these AI features are expected to arrive in October with the iOS 18.1 update rather than being available at launch.
