American Express’s shares have gained $4.59, or 5.9%, while those of UnitedHealth have risen $13.06, or 4.7%, combining for a roughly 121-point bump for the Dow. Other components contributing significantly to the gain include JPMorgan Chase JPM, -1.96%, Cisco CSCO, -1.01%, and Merck MRK, -2.72%. A $1 movement in any of the Dow’s 30 parts results in a 6.86-point swing.
Raytheon Technologies Corp., Travelers, share losses lead Dow’s 189-point drop.

Walgreens Boots WBA, -1.56%, IBM IBM, -1.04%, and 3M MMM, -0.59% is also contributing significantly to the decline. A $1 movement in any of the Dow’s 30 parts equates to a 6.86-point swing.
Boeing, Travelers, share losses lead Dow’s nearly 300-point drop
