European Stocks Mixed on Global Growth Concerns

On Wednesday, European stocks mixed as China’s downbeat economic data spilt global growth concerns. 

Accordingly, the pan-European STOXX 600 index shed 0.12% or 0.54 points to $467.11 per share. 

Just Eat Takeaway.com, the index’s current bottom performer, fell 4.27% or 3.31 points to $87.73 per share.

Consequently, the EURO STOXX 50 index plunged 0.06% or 2.54 points to $4,189.13 per share.

Whereas, the luxury goods company Kering plummeted 3.60% or 23.70 points to $634.40 per share. 

In addition, Louis Vuitton inched down 2.88% or 18.70 points to $628.20 per share. 

On the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, the DAX index progressed 0.05% or 8.43 points to $15,731.42 per share. 

However, Adidas AG lost 1.46% or 4.30 points to $288.90 per share. 

Likewise, the MDAX Performance index tumbled 0.33% or 116.70 points to $35,755.05 per share. 

Then, battery manufacturer Varta AG edged down 5.07% or 6.35 points to $140.66 per share.

Also, Puma SE dropped 1.93% or 2.00 points to $2.19 per share. 

On the London Stock Exchange, the FTSE All-Share index declined 0.03% or 1.35 points to $4,055.10 per share.

Subsequently, the FTSE 100 index tumbled 0.04% or 2.96 points to $7,037.02 per share.     

Additionally, Hostelworld Group slid 5.88% or 5.00 points to $78.65 per share.

Meanwhile, the MSCI world index slipped 0.09% or 2.89 points or $3,113.20 per share.

Global Stocks Down as European Stocks Mixed

Furthermore, global stocks are mostly down as European stocks mixed on Wednesday trading. 

Wall Street traded lower as the Dow Jones Industrial Average index slipped 0.84% or 292.06 points to $34,577.57 per share. 

Likewise, the S&P 500 index fell 0.57%  or 25.68 points to $4,443.05 per share. 

Consequently, the Nasdaq Composite index lost 0.45% or 67.82 points to $15,037.76 per share. 

Similarly, Asia-Pacific stocks edged down on China’s weak economic data.

The Shanghai Composite index lowered 0.17% or 6.38 points to $3,656.22 per share. 

Then, the Shenzhen Component index plunged 0.61% or 89.77 points to $14,536.31 per share.

Accordingly, Japan’s Nikkei 225 index declined 0.52% or 158.39 points to $30,511.71 per share. 

Also, the broader TOPIX index plummeted 1.06% or 22.48 points to $2,096.39 per share.

In Australia, the S&P/ASX 200 index inched down 0.27% or 20.30 points to $7,417.00 per share.
