iOS 15 Has Some New Features to Help You Control Your Time

Apple’s new iPhone software, called iOS 15, will be available in the following months with lots of new features.

One of the best features is called Focus. It lets you block out all the noise during certain times. It means you can turn off any notifications from apps and messages you don’t care about. Remarkably, you can turn on all those notifications later.

Remarkably, Focus is way more extensive and customizable than Do Not Disturb. It gives you the ability to control over what apps and people can reach you. Notably, on iPhones with Face ID, you just swipe down from the top right of the screen in iOS 15 and tap a new button that says Focus.

Moreover, you can set Focus to interrupt you if you get a text from a specific person. However, you won’t receive an alert from anyone else. Once iOS 15 is available to everyone, people will be able to push a message through to you if they see you’re in Focus mode, though, which is good for emergencies.

A Public Beta to Allow People to Try the New Features Will Launch Sometime in July

Moreover, IOS 15 will let you set different Focus profiles, which you can easily switch between. You might have one for Personal time. There are also Sleep and Work profiles that you can choose, and you can create others.

Besides, Focus can be applied to all of your Apple devices at the same time. So, when you turn on Focus mode on your iPhone, it automatically turns on for Apple Watch, iPad, or MacBook.

IOS 15 has many new exciting changes, such as big updates to FaceTime, the Safari web browser, Messages, and more. However, most people will find Focus is one of those less-talked-about features that will impact how we use our phones.

The update will be available to everyone in the third quarter of the year. However, a public beta that will allow people to try the new features will launch sometime in July.
