Microsoft Collaborates with Major Names for Tech Innovations

Microsoft partners with DANA, Indonesia’s leading technology company, and Hexagon’s Manufacturing Intelligence sector to create significant innovations.

DANA and Microsoft will integrate GitHub Copilot to improve developer productivity in their everyday business operations. The tactic aims to showcase a seamless alignment between the two firms.

Nearly 300 developers from various areas incorporated this Copilot in February to speed up and improve daily workflows. The multinational corporation’s mission to empower individuals to achieve more makes it an ideal team-up.

The Indonesian company worked with multiple Microsoft artificial intelligence (AI) solutions, such as Microsoft 365 Copilot and Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service. As a result, it enhanced its operations, workforce productivity, and customer service.

Moreover, Hexagon announced its collaboration with the tech giant, focusing on redefining engineers’ connections and innovating the manufacturing sector.

Their union would offer solutions utilizing advanced cloud infrastructure to connect manufacturing and engineering systems. This includes Microsoft 356’s part in Hexagon’s Nexus digital reality platform to increase employees’ productivity.

Both companies also partnered closely on the Fluid Framework and Azure Fluid Relay service. They work on real-time data sharing across manufacturing industry processes and systems to make one system available to other people or machines.

Additionally, the innovations with the utilized tools would simplify work practices and decision-making.

Phi-3-mini by Microsoft Rolls Out

On Tuesday, Microsoft released a lightweight AI model to attract a broader client base with cost-effective choices.

The new model is the first of the three small language models to be launched by the company. It plans a future of technology that can create a significant impact globally and on how people work.

According to Microsoft’s vice president of GenAI research, the Phi-3 is drastically cheaper. It is almost ten times more affordable than other models that work similarly.

The company also stated that the Phi-3-mini will be accessible on Microsoft cloud service platform Azure’s AI model catalog and other channels.
