RoboMarkets Revs Up with BMW for DTM 2024-2025

RoboMarkets, a European brokerage firm, has renewed its top-tier partnership with BMW M Motorsport for the DTM seasons of 2024-2025.

Since initiating cooperation in 2019, the brokerage has gained significant visibility in Germany’s prominent racing series.

Under the new agreement, the BMW M4 GT3 will showcase the RoboMarkets brand on its bonnet, doors, roof, and rear. Media stands and team garage walls will also feature the RoboMarkets logo during the DTM seasons of 2024-2025.

The partnership first expanded in mid-2021, with another renewal occurring in 2023 when René Rast joined the team, driving the number 33 car.

René Rast thanked RoboMarkets for their support after a successful 2023 season, including a win at the Red Bull Ring and multiple podium finishes. “Their support is key to our success. We plan to achieve more in the future,” he stated.

At 36, Rast races for Schubert Motorsport and stands out as one of Germany’s most versatile and accomplished drivers, holding three DTM titles in 2017, 2019, and 2020. His motorsport career began with Formula BMW in 2003 and 2004, and he tested with BMW M3 DTM in 2011 before BMW’s DTM return.

The 2024 DTM calendar will include eight races across Germany, the Netherlands, and Austria, showcasing the prowess of elite drivers and advanced racing technology. The partnership between RoboMarkets and BMW M Motorsport marks their fifth season together.

Beyond Football in Brokerage and Sports

The extended partnership with BMW highlights RoboMarkets’ interest in sports beyond football.

A similar commitment is seen in Vantage Markets’ third-year sponsorship of the NEOM McLaren Extreme E team, announced in February this year. Since 2022, the collaboration between UK-based Vantage and NEOM McLaren has emphasised innovation and philanthropy, including the Vantage Foundation’s sustainability funding through race equipment and merchandise auctions.

While football remains a primary marketing avenue for brokers, motorsports sponsorships have gained traction, evidenced by XTB’s role as a pioneer in F1 team sponsorships 12 years ago.

Motorsport now ranks as brokers’ second favourite marketing discipline after football.
