Telegram is going launch

Telegram Switches to Blockchain Number

The new update permits users to create accounts without SIM cards via blockchain-based anonymous numbers.

Users can buy the numbers and usernames from Fragment in exchange for TONS.

The centralized instant message service app, Telegram, received a new feature enabling users to create accounts without sim cards using blockchain-based anonymous numbers.

On December 7, the Telegram team reported that the platform has decided to begin a new phase of privacy, saying that today begins a new era of privacy. You can install a Telegram account without a SIM card.

Particularly, the new feature is a part of the privacy policy of the messaging platform, which previously had security features allowing the application to hide personal phone numbers from the non-added users on the platform.

Following the introduction of the platform in 2013 by Nikolai and Pavel Durov, Telegram got security and privacy features, including self-destructive messages by which the users can delete the messages without a trace. In expansion, they could also arrange auto-delete timers to remove chats after a specific time.

Using TON

As stated in the new update, the users are supposed to buy “blockchain-powered anonymous numbers” from the decentralized auction platform, Fragment, established by Pavel Durov, the creator of Telegram.

Notably, Fragment administers anonymous numbers and user names that stick to the privacy policy of Telegram.

Though the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filed a case against using TON in 2019, the platform resolved the issues soon and allowed users to send and receive the coins instantly within the chats.
