Walmart adds new features to make online shopping easier

According to the latest news, Walmart, an American multinational retail corporation that operates a hypermarket chain, has added new features to make online shopping easier for gift-givers. The company has new ways to notify users which items can be sent as a gift and a new eGift Card feature in Walmart app.

The company announced that its customers are shopping earlier than ever for this time; therefore, Walmart is looking for ways to help them by giving gifts. We know that the giant company launched a Hif Finder tool a year ago in order to help customers with a variety of merchandise options. Walmart noticed that what customers plan to purchase this year is changing somewhat; therefore, the company added new filters to reflect lifestyles that have developed during the Coronavirus epidemic.

Walmart also allows Gift Cards and e-Gifts options

Moreover, the giant company has added various categories, for example, Nostalgia & Restro and Gif Sets for those who prefer ready-to-give presents. Furthermore, the giant company also allows Gift Cards and e-Gifts options crossing a range of categories. Users can send them in the mail or digitally.

Additionally, Walmart.com allows users to mark an item as a gift. Therefore the item arrives in a Walmart box to keep it secret. It also hides the price and emails a customizable gift message in a digital gift receipt.

The good thing is that Walmart.com is letting shoppers know which items can be sent as gifts by marking them with a gift-eligible icon. Furthermore, It also has added a new gift eligible filter. According to the giant company, it makes it easier to shop for items that can be sent as gifts.

Furthermore, now shoppers can see if the package has to be shipped in the manufacturer’s original box. Then, for example, customers who want to keep a child’s first bicycle that generally ships in the manufacturer’s box a surprise can make agreements to take the item at a Walmart store.
