On Wednesday, Xiaomi unveiled its new smartphone, the Redmi A4 5G, powered by Qualcomm Technologies Inc. Snapdragon 4s Gen 2.
According to reports, the device, disclosed at the ongoing Indian Mobile Congress, is seen as a sign in entry-level phones for Indian purchasers, mainly granting millions with 5G connectivity.
Furthermore, the Redmi A5 5G is India’s debut smartphone powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 Mobile Platform. The phone will reportedly cost under Rs10,000 ($119.03), although the launch date is still unknown.
Meanwhile, Xiaomi and Qualcomm have partnered to bring gigabit-fast connectivity to millions of consumers in India, making high-speed internet access more widely available.
Moreover, the Android phone will also make 5G connectivity accessible to a broader audience, which is anticipated to extend the company’s devotion to innovation for everyone.
Redmi A4 is the newest addition to the company’s A-series models for first-time Android users.
Muralikrishnan B, president of Xiaomi India, emphasized that the Redmi A4 5G represents a major milestone in the company’s mission to make advanced technology accessible to all Indians.
Specifically designed for the Indian market, the device reflects the firm’s 5G for Everyone vision and aims to help close the digital divide.
Power Bank Lite of Xiaomi to Launch Globally
Xiaomi has made a product listing for the Power Bank 10000mAh 22.5W Lite on its global website, and it will soon be available in more countries.
Furthermore, the accessory lets users charge three devices at once, with tools like a low-current charging mode and light-emitting diodes (LEDs) to reveal the remaining battery percentage.
According to the company, the Power Bank capacity allows users to charge an iPhone 14 twice, a Nintendo Switch 1.3 times, or a Xiaomi 13 1.7 times.
In addition, purchasers can recharge the accessory at 22.5 watts (W) through its USB-C ports and fully charge it in about 4.5 hours.
