Zoom Stock Dips Amid Revealing Partnership with Avaya

Monday saw a decrease in Zoom stock following the announcement of its strategic collaboration with Avaya.

In the Asian afternoon session, the California-based company’s stock slid by 0.87% to $65.96 per share. The company’s stock is expected to surge in the premarket session by 0.62% to $66.37 apiece.

Meanwhile, the agreement revealed that Avaya has decided to incorporate Zoom Workplace, which is Zoom’s artificial intelligence (AI)-driven collaboration platform, into its Communication & Collaboration Suite.

This integration aims to offer a smooth management experience for communication environments and workflows.

Moreover, Avaya’s extensive clientele, comprising major industry enterprises, will gain access to an improved collaboration experience via the integrated Zoom Workplace solution.

The New Jersey-based firm will provide this solution, ensuring innovation without disrupting current systems.

Furthermore, the collaboration enables Avaya customers to maximize the value of their investments in the firm’s private cloud and on-premises solutions while also leveraging Zoom’s interface for their collaboration requirements.
