The world’s largest cryptocurrency, Bitcoin (BTC), came close to reaching the $50,000 level over the weekend. At around 0230 pm, Monday, BTC cut some of the gains as it declined by 2.61% and traded at $47,500. The currency is still up around 4% over the past 24 hours.
