eToro Forges Association with APL for A-Leagues Backing

In a strategic move, eToro is launching a three-year sponsorship deal with the Australian Football League. This move elevates eToro to the Official Trading and Investing Platform of the A-Leagues.

Its latest collaboration involves the Australian Professional Leagues (APL), enveloping the Isuzu UTE A-League Men and the Liberty A-League Women. eToro’s logo will adorn the men’s jerseys in the 2023/2024 season, appear on substitution boards throughout the games, and have a digital footprint on A-Leagues channels.

APL Commissioner Nick Garcia expressed his pleasure at bringing eToro on board. He drew attention to the record-breaking crowd and viewership figures achieved by the Liberty A-League Women. He also shared his optimism for an outstanding season for the Isuzu UTE A-League Men.

Nick Garcia mentioned eToro’s long-term relationship with football worldwide and how they were excited to nurture this long-term collaboration.

eToro’s Sports Sponsorship Portfolio Expands

eToro has an extensive portfolio of global sponsorships. They’ve partnered with the English Premier League, German Bundesliga, Spanish Liga ACB, and UK Premiership Rugby. This new addition with APL adds to their growing list, demonstrating their commitment to raising brand visibility through sports sponsorships in the retail trading sector.

Robert Francis, eToro Australia’s Managing Director, expressed his excitement regarding their support of both male and female teams. He stated that following the success of the FIFA Women’s World Cup, they were enthusiastic about inspiring more people to explore investing. They are eager to attend the games and enjoy quality football.

While eToro’s sponsorship deals have primarily been international, this isn’t their first venture into Australian sports in 2021, eToro extending to the following year.
