Sony unveiled an accessibility controller for PlayStation

On Thursday, Sony unveiled Project Leonardo, an accessibility-focused PS5 controller, at its Consumer Electronics Show (CES) event.

The firm’s stock price declined by 0.39% to $77.50 per share on January 05. Yet, it is anticipated to rebound higher by 0.84% to $78.15 apiece on Friday.

This new highly customizable controller kit was designed for disabled gamers to play comfortably for a longer period.

Sony said Project Leonardo features a strong suite of substitutable buttons and analog sticks.

Besides, its button mapping and control profiles allow players to personalize their gaming experience.

Also, the project works independently or unitedly with the PS5’s DualSense controller.

Furthermore, Sony described the controller as generally onstage. Yet, analysts believe it to be a hub with swappable parts and plates. Also, it could let players connect different items, such as breathing tubes, pedals, and switches, to activate the buttons.

The entity’s representative said the UFO-shaped device could hold an analog joystick with eight toggles. Moreover, it could be paired with each other or with a traditional controller to offer substitutes for any function.
