Huawei Replaced Banned Parts to Combat US Sanctions

According to the founder of Huawei, the company replaced more than 13,000 parts in its products to hit US trade sanctions.

Based on the founder, there are around 4,000 circuit boards that had been redesigned. Over the past three years, there were thousands of replacements and redesigned parts. It provided a peek at its efforts to fight years of American sanctions.

The founder of Huawei, Ren Zhengfei, said there had been a stabilization of the production of circuit boards.

On the other hand, it spent around $23.80 billion on research and development in 2022. They started looking for more enterprise solutions opportunities after US sanctions struck the company.

There had been a technology rivalry in the past few years with the Shenzhen-based firm. Concerns surfaced about the company’s ties to the Chinese military. As a result, the Trump administration added Huawei to an export blacklist in 2019.

Meanwhile, Zhengfei said he advocated Western technology until the US argued with the business. However, he added that even now, he is not anti-West.

Despite his statement, the tech company was still sanctioned. Therefore, they could not supply them with proper components and tools.

Furthermore, Huawei will launch MetaERP, its resource planning system. The release will take place next month, utilizing its operating system, data system, compiler, and language.

Enjoy 60 by Huawei to be Launched on March

In the Spring Flagship launch, Huawei will unveil Enjoy 60 and other products on March 23.

The new device will come with a sleek design, underlined by its 48MP camera. The front camera is an 8MP lens with a 2MP depth of field. A 22.5W fast charging supports it.

Also, its Kirin chip is a great feature of the new Huawei smartphone. The chip is expected to be in-house developed. In addition, its 6.75-inch LCD waterdrop screen gave a 1600x720p resolution.

The Enjoy 60 would also support side fingerprint recognition. The phone to be released comes in Phantom Night Black, Morning Gold, and Ice Crystal Blue.

Analysts say the smartphone is a must-have for budget-conscious users who want high-end features.
