NVIDIA Confirms Plans for CES 2023

Earlier this week, NVIDIA confirmed it would focus on GeForce RTX 40 mobile graphics for CES 2023, the most influential tech event worldwide.

The technology giant would pivot on its RTX 4090, 4080, 4080, and possibly the mid-range series.

Analysts anticipated that the mobile RTX 40 series would be launched early next month as the laptop maker revealed its designs.

According to sources, the desktop 4070 Ti model will be released on January 05, two days after the official announcement at the “GeForce Beyond” event.

Furthermore, Acer is preparing a high-end gaming laptop called “Predator PH16-71.” It comes with Core i9-13900 HX 24-core Raptor Lake processors matched with NVIDIA RTX 4080 Laptop GPU. This data leak is the first information for these GPU specs. Also, it would be used as proof that reviewers started testing such systems ahead of an official January announcement.

Moreover, the AD104-based mobile graphics was revealed to feature 58 Compute Units of streaming multiprocessors. Therefore, it is equated to 7424 CUDA cores. Also, the latest data confirms the memory spec to feature 12GB memory. Reportedly, the maximum GPU lock hit 2.01 GHz, setting 29.7 TFLOPs of single-precision computer capacity.

The RTX 40 Mobile series is set to launch following the NVIDIA CES 2023 “GeForce Beyond” on January 03.

Chinese Nvidia RTX 4070 Ti Price Listing

Meanwhile, Chinese online retailers started listing NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti graphic cards for sale. However, the pricing is almost identical to the pre-cancellation of the RTX 4080 12GB model.

Online marketplaces such as Taobao and Baidu have multiple listings of custom card designs from Colorful, Gigabyte, Inno3D, and MSI with no NVIDIA reference models.

The ten models’ pricing spans from $1,034.00 to $1,206.00 or ¥7,199.00 to ¥8,399.00.

Before its un-launching, the RTX 4080 12GB had an official MSRP of ¥7,199.00 in China. However, its street price plummeted following its launch.
